Skill details

What it does

Reliable reads and writes against the Notion API on the current data-source model: query records, create and update pages, read a schema, and page through every result.

What you need

Tools and access: Notion internal integration token

You bring:

  • an internal integration token shared on the pages you need
  • the database and data-source ids in the project config

How it works4

The steps, in order. The method itself is served whole through the connector, current on every use.

  1. 1

Resolve the data source for the database

  2. 2

    Read the schema

  3. 3

Query with filters and page every result

  4. 4

Create or update pages by canonical id

What it doesn't do

  • Writing formula or rollup properties
  • Mutating anything from a fuzzy title match

When your AI reaches for it

Notion API reference — searching a workspace, querying data sources, creating and updating pages, and reading database schemas. Use for any Notion integration work: pulling records, writing status updates, creating pages from a template, or inspecting a database's properties.

Latest change

v2.0.318 Sep 2026
Declares that it writes no local work product (`writes: []`): Notion is the record. No change to the method.
